Room number: Located between the 1A and 1B classes in the Elementary wing.
Assigned hours for classes: 2-3 hours per week for small group, individual instruction, or classroom intervention.
The Learning Center offers support within classroom or small group pullout for the students, emphasizing on academic areas and the development of working habits, study skills, learning methods and development of thinking skills according to their age.
Our objectives are to :
- Prevent, detect, assess, evaluate and intervene for possible learning difficulties.
- Orient parents and organize programs in accordance with each individual´s needs.
- Optimize skills and capacities of children with difficulties and/or special learning conditions, for more effective learning.
- Maintain a follow-up program on the general development and intellectual progress of students who have been assisted by the LC faculty.
